What happens if there are no trees?

 

Have you ever imagined a world without trees? Can you envision such a world? Trees help us with carbon storage, soil conservation, and water cycle control. Many creatures, including humans, depend on them for food and shelter. Trees are unavoidable in the fight against climate change, wildlife preservation, and environmental protection. It's estimated that about 3.04 trillion trees exist on the globe, and 2.47 million are felled each day, according to a study published on Nature. According to this projection, we will run out of them in a few years if nothing is done to save them or plant new trees to replace the ones being cut down.

A world without trees would be a dangerous place for all species. First, without trees, people would perish due to inadequate air. Trees produce oxygen to balance the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, making it safe for people to breathe. Without trees, there would be much more CO2 and less oxygen, which would be harmful to human health.

Without trees, people and other animals will go starving because deforestation harms the soil. It promotes soil erosion, which depletes soil nutrients. The earth would become polluted and hazardous substances would accumulate. The soil would not be able to supply food for species that rely on it.

Additionally, there would be widespread extinction of a large number of species. From animals and people to birds, the air is a vital part of existence. The majority of creatures rely on trees for survival. Moreover, the planet would have a chronic dry sea. There will be no rainfall, and freshwater supplies will be depleted. Can you possibly fathom such a thing?

Given how trees are irreplaceable, let us care for them, protect them, minimize deforestation and bushfires, as well as accept the duty of planting new trees to replace those that have already been chopped down and removed from the landscape.
