COVERING UP WITH "EARTH"

Covering up with “Earth”

Earth has been blessed with all the natural things that man can think of. It has been made to serve mankind and vice versa. Just to mention a few, there are trees, animals, ocean, wildlife, humans among others. These are all very important. When it comes to trees, there are so many benefits we derive from them. One of the benefits which have been chosen for this write-up is the fact that it can be used as a cover-up. Covering up with "earth" basically means packaging with corrugated paper which is made of paper pulp materials. All these are gotten from trees. When your package with cardboard you have covered up with earth.

The Paper used at BOTTA Packaging is 100% recyclable and free of polyethylene. Being corrugated makes it more sustainable for the environment. These are renewable as well as recyclable. The corrugated packages at BOTTA are reusable and cost-effective with the possibility of customization. They are also biodegradable and compostable.

These packages can be used in various sectors like cosmetics, food, healthcare, e-commerce, moving/relocation, electricals, fashion, etc. Two Sides commissioned a European consumer preferences survey in 2020 in which 62% of the consumers believe paper and cardboard packaging is better for the environment. Additionally, 70% of consumers polled claimed they were actively working to limit their use of plastic packaging. Paper is now largely regarded as a more environmentally friendly alternative to plastic among consumers. This shows the market trend for them is on the rise.

With this in mind, it is high time we take advantage of what the earth has provided us with and cover up with items with paper which is far better than plastics. Paper is much more sustainable and flexible than other items used in wrapping products.

BIODEGRADABLE

While technically every material or substance is biodegradable, some take thousands of years to decompose while others take hundreds of years. To avoid causing the latter to wind up in landfills, manufacturing firms should try to utilize materials or manufacture products that degrade more quickly than those that decay over hundreds of thousands of years. This is because when they do not decompose quickly and wind up in landfills, they may release toxic methane into the environment.

When it comes to producing a product, having knowledge of goods with various times of degradation should assist production managers and businesses in general in making informed decisions about their products. As an alternative, they may use the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tool to help them in their decision-making.

Join us in restoring the health and strength of mother earth.

IMPORTANCE OF CRADLE TO CRADLE FOR BUSINESSES

Importance of Cradle to Cradle for Businesses

Cradle to Cradle is a model that involves the use of materials in the manufacturing process which can be reused or remodeled into other products. In effect the use of raw materials that can also serve as nutrients for the environment after their initial use. The choice of this model can benefit an organization in so many different ways.

First, it provides businesses with a reduced and effective cost of production. This is because the raw materials do not go to waste but are used and reused. Under this, raw materials are effectively used and it also provides new sources of products. Companies do not waste resources when they use this kind of practice.

Following the above advantage, this model also brings about innovation and the production of high-quality products. Since companies who use this concept invest much into their research and development departments to come up with new ways of recycling, reusing, and producing new products. Innovations normally come with increment in revenue for the organization if they can achieve their purpose.

Furthermore, cradle to cradle most importantly has to do with environmental issues. This topic encourages companies to produce goods that have a strong positive impact on the environment. This includes the use of renewal energy, water stewardship among others. This helps to preserve and sustain the environment for the present and future generations.

Lastly, when the company considers the well-being of its stakeholders before choosing a production process, this helps to mitigate any adverse health effects it may have on them. While doing so, companies build strong and healthy company ethics and reputation that will benefit them in the future.

Considering these advantages, businesses should opt for this principle of recycling which would be a greater opportunity for them.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR BUSINESS MORE ECO-CONSCIOUS

How to Make Your Business More Eco-Conscious

Environmental stewardship is the new standard, and company owners should understand the best practices for making their companies more environmentally aware. This article will discuss five tips that businesses may take to become more environmentally friendly and minimize their negative environmental effect.

1. The business can monitor and evaluate greenhouse gas emissions. This contributes to mitigating the effects of climate change. They should examine their manufacturing processes to determine which stages release harmful gases and devise solutions or novel methods to assist minimize this issue.

2. Businesses also monitor their energy usage. Energy conservation should be a key concern for a business, not only because it will save money in the long run, but also because it will help maintain the environment. They may experiment with motion-activated or automated lights that turn on just when someone moves and turn off when not in use. They may also invest in solar energy, which will help mitigate the effects of climate change.

3. Their manufacturing method should incorporate recyclable resources. By using these recyclable materials, the need for new raw materials will be reduced, thus alleviating strain on natural resources. Additionally, recyclable materials decrease the quantity of trash disposed of at the end of the day since they may be repurposed.

4. Biodegradable materials are required for a business to minimize the quantity of trash that ends up in landfills unable to break down.

5. Choosing sustainable suppliers is another method for the business to contribute to environmental stewardship. For ecological packaging, I suggest BOTTA Packaging, which offers a diverse variety of packaging options for your goods.
